DISTINGUISHED TEACHING CAREER

In addition to the stellar performing career Mark Zeltser is a prominent piano teacher.  Having earned his Doctor of Musical Arts degree at the world famous Moscow Conservatory, Dr. Zeltser held a teaching position there.

Several of his students won top prizes at the major international piano competitions including the Marguerite Long /Jacques Tibault, Queen Elizabeth and the Tchaikovsky competitions. Talented young pianists follow him to his performances around the world in order to receive private lessons.

Virtually all Dr. Zeltser’s concerts worldwide are followed by  master classes that attract large audiences and accord him the opportunity to to hear some of the best young pianists in different countries. Most of Dr. Zeltser’s current students are truly outstanding talents and prizewinners at various international competitions.

Dr. Zeltser is the Artistic Director and piano professor of the critically acclaimed International Festival and teaching program Moscow Conservatory in America.
